Itinerary in details:
Day 1: Overnight train to Lao Cai
8.00pm: Transfer to Hanoi train station.

Day 2: Sa Pa (B)
Early arrival in Lao Cai train station. Our bus driver will pick you up and take you up hill to Sa Pa which would be a little over an hour, giving you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. Our guide will meet you at the hotel to briefly explain about the program and suggest some restaurants for lunch and dinner.

We will have a free morning for you to sleep in or walk around town. As a hill town, Sa Pa is a home of ethnic people like Black H’Mong, Red Dzao, Zday … and make sure that you visit the local market, a good chance to have some interaction with the locals.
In the afternoon, an approximate 3 hour walk will take you downhill via Sapa town through Y Linh Ho village and to Cat Cat village. It is a great view, wandering through vegetable gardens and rice terraces. Rest at their scenic water fall and balance your way across their hanging bridge. After easy trekking, you arrive in Cat Cat village and pay a visit to a local Black H’ Mong family where you can see the traditional fibre processing including: peeling off bark from the dried hemp stalks, tied stripped bark ribbons to form a bundle, weaving, dying the hemp cloth… This is the highlight of the trip!

Day 3: Sa Pa onto Hanoi (B & L)
In the morning, start trekking (4hrs) down the valley along local trails and across rice paddies to visit Black HMong and Dzay ethnic minority communities. A picnic lunch will be prepared by the stream before we take another short walk over the famous Bamboo bridge for our jeep ride back to town.
Our bus departs Sa Pa at 4.30 pm to Lao Cai train station for another overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi
Train arrives in Hanoi station at 5.30 am. Tour ends.

Suggestions for early activities in Hanoi:
- Book the hotel in advance for early check-in or
- By Hoan Kiem lake, there are some great classes that you can join in with: stretching, tai chi, fertility, walking etc. You will love this once in a lifetime opportunity for some early morning local interaction.

- Transfer to Hanoi train station
- Local bus from Lao Cai train station to Sa Pa & back
- Train tickets both way (AC, soft - sleeper, 4 people / cabin)
- English speaking guide in Sa Pa
- 01 night hotel (based on twin shared in Cat Cat guesthouse)
